DareSay

Client: Joel Hirsh

Business description: Sportswear for daily life

Vibe: Brutally authentic, good-natured humor, upbeat

Project goal: Rebrand an existing and functional sports brand by leveling up with a thorough brand strategy, complete with messaging and renewed visuals.

Industry: Retail and fashion

Location: New York

Strategy and copywriting collaboration: Sacha Gorelik

DareSay was already selling. The brand was clean, functional, and getting results—but it had hit a wall. Growth had stagnated because it lacked a strong brand strategy.

This is a common trap: A business might have a working product, but without a clear brand identity, it can only go so far.

The Strategy

We started from scratch, building a brand strategy that gave DareSay a mission, a story, and a personality.

Brand Vibe

Brutally authentic – Real, unfiltered, and unapologetic.

Good-natured humor – Lighthearted, fun, and never too serious.

Upbeat energy – Encouraging movement, action, and confidence.

Messaging & Tone of Voice

DareSay’s brand voice is down-to-earth and humorous, speaking to an audience that enjoys sportswear but doesn’t take themselves too seriously.

Visual Identity

Since DareSay is in the sportswear category, the visual direction needed to reflect movement, energy, and playfulness.

Logo & Graphics: Incorporates diagonal lines to emphasize dynamism and motion.

Typography: A mix of sans-serif, dynamic, and comic-styled fonts to convey humor and approachability.

Color Palette: Fresh, young, and slightly funky. Unisex tones with the option of peach as a complementary color, especially for women’s apparel.

Final Results

DareSay’s rebrand transformed it from a functional business into a recognizable, personality-driven brand. The new strategy, messaging, and visuals now work together to create a cohesive, energetic identity that resonates with its audience.

Branding isn’t just a logo. And a logo isn’t just a nice font.

Today, DareSay is ready to grow.

Working with Sacha Gorelik and Mostdesigned completely transformed DareSay Sportswear. What was once a clean but plain and stagnant brand is now a brand with a mission, a story, and a unique personality. The rebrand, from the strategy to the visuals, brought a fresh direction that set us up for growth. The thoughtful approach to every detail helped us break through the plateau and reestablish ourselves in the market. The result is a brand that feels authentic, cohesive, and ready to move forward.
